Hiring Kelsey was by far one of the best wedding decisions we made! On our wedding day, she made everyone feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera! The photos were

Plum Joy...

Many of you may wonder where my name comes from. It all is because of one incredible woman, my mom, Stacie. Mom was someone that lit up any room. She had a beautiful spirit that was infectious. She was supportive of my dreams and passions, no matter how crazy they were. She was one of my biggest supporters when I fell in love with photography.

My mom loved the Lord, and her family fiercely. She was the most compassionate person I knew, she would give you the clothes off her back if needed. With having five children, not only made it here insanely patient but it was also safe to say she was no stranger to a delivery room. When I was just a girl Mom started her doula business, which she named Plum Joy Doula. She loved helping mamas bring their little ones into the world.

Mom was the biggest fighter, her faith and her family were her backbone, and that was all she needed. In March of 2016, she went home to be with Jesus after almost a two year fight with brain cancer. She was a warrior to the end! Now, her legacy lives on in her children, family and friends. To honor her, I chose to bring a little bit of her passion into mine. Making my name Plum Joy Photography means so much and one small way I can have her here while I live out my dream!
